Research, plan, and execute practical and specialized lighting, sound, and projection elements in collaboration with Props, Scenic, and Costume departments. Attend design presentations, drafting reviews, staff meetings, production meetings, and preparation sessions as assignedĭesign and Load-In Process: Work with Lighting & Sound Supervisor to establish priorities and provide expertise for the execution and engineering of lighting, sound and video/projection elements for each production. Production Preparation: Read scripts in order to have a knowledge of the needs of each production and to be able to provide input to the creative process with directors, designers, faculty and other staff members.
